Why are we called Smart Fitt? |
Why is Smart Fitt for you? |
Smart Fitt is made up of two acronyms. All through my training to become a personal trainer and fitness instructor these two acronyms SMART FITT were used time after time. A good instructor uses these as their 'mantra' and is why I found they fitted well as my company name.
The SMART Principle: S = specific client needs M = measureable goals A = achievable goals R = realistic goals T = time specific goals Each of my classes encompasses all of these goals, simple easy to learn exercises and routines help to achieve the goals of each client. As each person attends week on week progression is easy to see, the easy to learn routines ensure the learning curve is easily achieved and the fun element is kept. The FITT Principle: F = Frequency of exercise I = Intensity of exercise T = time (duration) of exercise T = Type of exercise |
Smart Fitt run a selection of different classes at different venues enabling clients participation to suit their schedules. i.e. If you are a shift worker, you may only be able to do evening classes 2 weeks out of 4, we also hold daytime classes too, so you are able to attend irrespective of which shift you are on.
Classes are generally 45 to 60 minutes long meaning they fit easily into most people’s timeframe. Each class targets a different training method meaning that all levels of fitness are catered for whether a young mum, a desk bound office worker or a retired person looking for mobility and friendship.
