bootcamp
A Bootcamp Class is one of the most social and enjoyable forms of exercise.
Bootcamp class can be run in many different formats from the more familiar individual circuit type to race layouts, accumulator through to group and team work.
Outdoor exercises to boost your metabolism
The Bootcamp that is taught through Smart Fitt is just 45 minutes per class. Classes are indoors or outdoors so a much broader range of exercise can be done. Bootcamp is ideal for Team Building or for groups of friends wanting something different to do after work or for partners wanting to work out together while each working to their own abilities. Bootcamp is used in many contexts these days – The X Factor has a Bootcamp to eek out the bad from the bit worse! In the US many children are sent to Bootcamp over the complete summer holidays to help them to loose weight. HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training)
Using the basic principles of HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) Bootcamp encourages each individual to push to make gains on previous weeks by friendly competition between groups or by self monitoring, for example an individual who in their first week managed 10 sit ups, by week four could well be doing 15 – 20 sit ups. Bootcamp Class can be run in many different formats from the more familiar circuit type to race layouts to accumulator; in groups/teams, in partners, individuals. Working with a partner adds a totally different “feel” to the work out and encourages greater participation as there is the element of “not letting your partner down”, and also adds a social element. You are your only limit. Working with the elements...
Whenever possible the class will be outdoors adding extra elements – the wind, the rain, the sunshine, frost, snow etc. Working out in the outdoors can help to boost metabolism even further. When it is cold the body needs to keep warm and therefore burns more calories, when it is windy it is necessary to move against the wind therefore increasing the intensity of the exercise and increasing the calorie burn even further. Any type Bootcamp is designed to push each participant to their limits. A Smart Fitt Bootcamp Class is designed to push each participant to their limits while having the most fun possible! Simple exercises that are quick to master A Smart Fitt Bootcamp class will move through the exercises quite quickly in order to keep the effects of the “warm up” without the effects of the weather/time cooling the participants down. Therefore exercises are kept simple, functional, easy to understand and demonstrate, fun to perform and quick to master. |
