FIghting fit

Fighting Fit combines Tae Kwon Do and gym-based boxing moves, drills, punches and kicks for a full body workout.
Fighting Fit - Exercise Class Thurlby
The Fighting Fit class is a 60 minute mix of cardio, strength, stamina and flexibility. Exercises can be performed alone or with a partner (when guidance allows). You need to have a decent level of fitness to attend this class - this class is ideal if you already attend Bootcamp or Total Body Blast.
 
Tae Kwon Do is a form of martial art, which uses a mixture of punching and kicking techniques, with particular attention on head-height kicks, jumping spinning kicks, and fast kicking techniques. Amanda has a passion for Taekwondo having competed in the martial art for over 14 years and attained her 3rd Degree black belt.
 
Unlike in a traditional Tae Kwon Do class the Fighting Fit class does not include any sparring. The Taekwondo punches and kicks are mixed with Bootcamp drills making it a challenging workout that is rewarding, motivating and most importantly, lots of fun! Fighting Fit will give you a full cardio workout that focuses on improving strength and stamina.
 
The class will be outside when the grass is dry. Working out on the grass in the fresh air adds extra benefits to the class and the natural cushioning of the grass helps protect joints when jumping and kicking.
 
All attendees need to bring their own boxing gloves to this class. All other equipment is supplied.
