Move it or lose it classes
Scientifically proven exercises that improve muscle strength, promoting balance and reducing your risk of falls.
All Move It Or Lose It class exercises can be carried out seated or standing. Many of the moves are ‘functional fitness’. For example, moves that represent daily living activities like knee raises can help with climbing stairs.
The Move It Or Lose It classes have changed the way I teach, and have altered my appreciation of the Senior generation, making me a much more rounded teacher.”
The ladies and gentlemen who come to the Move It Or Lose It classes are such genuine people. They come to take part in the exercises, they are genuinely interested to know why the moves are done, how the moves will impact on their daily lives.
The best part is when they come and tell me the little things they have achieved during the week for example, after doing sit-to-stand in class being able to get up off the sofa without using sticks; being able to reach up to a higher shelf because shoulder mobility had improved.

The laughter, joke telling and sing-a-longs are all part and parcel of a Move It Or Lose It classes, exercising is almost secondary!
